Mahindra Ingenio Coming Soon!

M&M is planning to launch its MUV segment model - Mahindra Ingenio in a last quarter of 2008. The vehicle was scheduled for the launch in August but it may be on Indian roads by Jan’09. M&M has not yet announced the final date for its latest MUV.
The Ingenio will be built at company’s Nashik plant in Maharatshtra State. The company is planning to invest Rs 500 crore in this project. This would help the company to boost its annual capacity to 150K units/annum. M&M already has signed MoU with the government of Maharashtra for new policy.
Importantly Maharashtra offers many advantages including access to a large reservoir of skilled and technical manpower and a well developed supplier base.

The Ingenio would be latest MUV (multi-utility vehicle) from M&M that will be available for both individual buyers as well as for taxi segment. The vehicle will be made on the conventional body-on frame; however, the industry is also operational on mono-coque platform. The Ingenio will be offered in 2-variants: Renault petrol engine and ‘Eagle’ which is new state-of-art diesel engine. The company promises to bring the brand new model with newest technology with modern styling and roomy interiors.

Is Mahindra Ingenio actually launching. Just a few weeks back, I read on
that the launch of Ingenio is still a rumour. I don’t understand whether the company is in a mood to launch the car or not. Since 2006, I am only hearing the news and nothing else.

Mahindra Ingenio is set to launch by end of this year. A lot of new but finally it will be rolled out by this year.

I have seen this vehicle in Black suited when I have visited the Nasik branch where the vehicle going to be shaped.I like the Looks..but lot more to Improve in future,,

you make such suv which may not be easy to buy every taxi oprater.everyone wants to buy a suv but when we see them stopped by policemen as the owner are using it as a taxi than we have to change our mood so you make costly and something diffrent model
