Automobili Lamborghini expands one of the most successful model lines with a wonderful car called Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder.

One of the fabulous characteristic of this new Lamborghini LP550-2 is understandable from the name of the model. LP of this new model refers to Longitidinale for the mid-engine that is built longitudinally in front of the rear axle. This model’s 550 stands for the power output in PS. The 2 refer to the drive to the rear wheels. The word spyder suggests the final fusion of an attractive, strong expressive super sports car design, complete happiness for all of the senses and the best open-air thrill. The launching of this car is planned officially at the Los Angeles Auto Show that is programmed between 17 to 27 November 2011. This model will be known as the upgraded version of LP550-2 Valentino Balbino model of Lamborghini. However, a few laudable and important changes have been done to the new model.

One of the crucial modifications done to the new model is the open-top frame. For improving the aerodynamic effectiveness of this new model, shape of the body has been bit tweak. Not all these changes are clearly identifiable. Another crucial thing that has great contribution in the improvement of the aerodynamic properties of this model is under-body panels. The suspension system of this car is wonderfully tined to suit the new weight requirements.

At the first glimpse, this car attracts every. Its drop-top feature charms everyone. Amid auto lovers and visitors, blue painted car creates a classy feeling. Another feature at adds beauty to this lavish car is the spokes of the alloy wheels. The new car features a 5.2-liter and 10-cylinder engine. The engine of this car boosts a power of almost 552 hp at 8000 RPM. Having such a powerful engine, this new car cruises from 9 to 60 mph in only 4.2 seconds. It is available with high speed of almost 200 mph.

The standard feature available in this new car is called as a six speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, there is a semi-automatic electronic-gearbox transmission system. The exciting features of this car are meant to offer you with a drive worth to remember!
