Karun has been selected after his outstanding performance in GP2 Racing. The Chennai born racer is all set to burn some serious rubber in the F1 industry. Karun Chandok has also done commentary with Steve Slater a lot of times for many F1 races. The news for the entry in F1 was out in the last moment. With just a week left for the beginning of the F1 Race in Bahrain the Karun Chandok will be on a race track soon. Practice sessions are being held by the HRT team to ensure their drivers are ready for the blow.
Supposedly Dr Vijay Mallya commented that Indian drivers are not yet ready for the European F1 flow. The Indian F1 team does not have its own driver. Well a reputed Indian driver will be seen in action after a week. Karun Chandok is the second Indian for the European sport after Narain Karthikeyan.
