Innova Gets Permission for Supply to Government

Now Government Departments will have Toyota’s Innova in their campauses often. Toyota Kirlosker Motor announced on Monday that they have received approval for providing its Innova (SUV) to the Government.

The Government of India has accorded the Directorate General of Supplies & Disposals (DGS&D) rate contract for the Toyota Innova 2.5 E seven and eight seater diesel versions. With the DGS&D rate contract effective from April, the Toyota Innova 2.5E can now be supplied to all government agencies at the Union and State levels at the government approved rate.

- Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said.

It is compulsory to get approval from the DGS&D to provide vehicles to the Government. DGS&D is the central quality assurance and purchase organization which comes under the Dept. of Supply under Ministry of Commerce.

    Yes even I read about I feel it is the perfect car for government officials. Earlier it was Ambassador. But now after it fading away from the roads, other vehicles are taking over. Read on about our oldie is falling down in its sales.
