Indian Car Of The Year - Tata Nano !

The cheapest car of the world - Tata Nano has won the Indian Car Of The Year (ICOTY) award for 2009.
In its 5th running and modeled along the lines of European, American and Japanese Car of the Year, ICOTY (Indian Car Of The Year) award and IMOTY (Indian Motorcycle Of The Year) award have been introduced by the top automotive magazines in the country, together with the JK Tyres, to carry the Indian auto industry at same level internationally in identifying their efforts.These awards are an independent and specialist judgment of all new launches (cars & bikes) in India every year. Eleven-member expert jury including senior auto journalists from top auto magazines in the country, came together to select the most exciting car and bike to approve international prizes for an automotive excellence.
Mr. P.M.Telang (MD, Tata Motors) received the ICOTY award from Dr. R.P.Singhania (Vice Chairman, MD, JK Tyre), @ New Delhi.
