India to Host 4th Environment Friendly Vehicles Conference - 2009

India is set to host the 4th Environment Friendly Vehicles Conference 2009 on 23rd and 24th November 2009. The conference will try to deal with efficiency in road transport through fuel efficiency and green cars.
Important issues like prevention of release of harmful materials in environment, reduction of greenhouse gas and improve in air quality will be discussed in the event.
The prestigious conference is first time occurring in the country. It will avail great platform for industry leaders, key decision makers and government officials and academicians for environment friendly public transport.
The biannually organized conference is being hosted together by Ministry of the heavy industries, public enterprise and stakeholders viz. shipping ministry, road transport & highways, environment & forest ministry, New & renewable energy ministry, urban development ministry, petroleum & natural gas ministry, SIAM and ACMA.
