Does your super bike give a mileage of 46.33? Well news is that Tata Motors have managed to get a staggering mileage of 46 km to a litre. Now that is fantastic news for the people who are annoyed with the constant price hike in petroleum products and CNG.

According to reports, the Tata Manza diesel version better known as the Quadrajet Aura ABS, has clocked an incredible mileage of 46.33 km per litre. This is a real achievement in itself, as this feat has been achieved by Mr. Narayanan Menon, who is a resident of Coimbatore. Mr Menon has actually managed to get that much mileage, and with this he has managed to zoom into the Limca Book of Records.

Mr. Narayanan R Menon, who is the Managing Director (M.D) of Aromen Engineering Company, and a proud owner of the Tata Manza has checked for the mileage and certified this news. Mr. Menon actually was in news for his remarkable drive on the Coimbatore-Avinashi by-pass, dated 25th of May 2011.

According to reports, Mr. Menon’s Tata Manza apparently covered a long stretch of 72.3 kilometers on road by consuming only around 1.58 liters of diesel. This translates to an incredible mileage of 46.33 km per litre for the Tata Manza Quadra jet diesel. Mr. Menon who is a mechanical engineer, himself does not give the credit of an amazing mileage to himself nor his driving skills, but according to him it is actually a combination of both, good driving as well as car maintenance.
