They are presently supplying LPG and CNG kits from 2-companies Korea, CEV and Motonic. In Korea, the whole taxi segment is powered by the LPG, provided by the 2-vendors. Motonic is setting up the production facility in Sriperumbudur, near Hyundai’s facility; CEV is functioning on setting up the assembly plant in Delhi. Currently, the company has 108-suppliers, containing 43 from Korea within 2-hour drive from a plant.

They will introduce new generation engine called ‘Kappa’ next week, mainly for i10. This would be made at a new assembly plant, which was the part of a company’s 2nd phase of expansion.
Hyundai are also planning to launch i20 this year.
