Hyundai to Hike Prices by Up to 2% in January 2009

Hyundai Motor India is planning to hike the prices of its cars by up to 2 percent in Jan’09.
Raw material prices, labour costs and other input costs have increased. We are looking to increase the prices by less than two per cent in January.

Hyundai introduced its new 5-door i20 on Monday. The Hyunda i20 is priced between Rs 4.8 lakh – 5.8 lakh. The i20 is available in 3 variants : i20 Manga at Rs 4.79 lakh, i20 Asta at Rs 5.59 lakh and i20 Asta (O) at Rs 5.81 lakh at ex-showrooms in Delhi.
The company aims to sale 15K cars of i20 in country and export 200K cars worldwide.
