Hyundai Receives “EXIM Achievement Award”

India’s one of the largest car makers and auto exporter Hyundai Motors, was honored with the “EXIM Achievement Award” for 2007-08 year at an event arranged by TCC (Tamil Chamber of Commerce). This award was given for Hyundai’s excellent achievement in ‘export-import’ type.
TCC was established in a 1944 and this is the 1st year that the ‘EXIM achievement award’ has been recognized to honor both Public and Private sector actions for their successes. This year Hyundai Motors grabbed the first EXIM achievement award for its top exporter position and 2nd position for an import category in a private sector for 2007 – 2008.
Last year, the company obtained the “Niryat Shree” Silver Cup for 2005-2006 from FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organizations) and EEPC the “Top Exporter of the year” prize for 2005-2006 year.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd which is the major car exporter of the country makes up more than 70 percent of car exports from the Indian market. The company in a 1999 began its exports with a set of 20 vehicles to neighboring Nepal and nowadays it exports to more than 100 countries worldwide including Africa, European Union, Middle East, America, Latin, and Asia.
