Hyundai Launching Popular SUV Model in India

The popular SUV model Santa Fe had been bought to India by Hyundai in 2008. But due to the slump in the market it postponed its launching in Indian. Thus, in this year the company plans to bring its famous SUV model to India for brightening up the SUV segment. This new model will have the power and ground clearance of SUV, but differ in the design and style of the car.
It is expected that the car will launch in two variants such as 2.2L diesel and 2.7L petrol. The diesel engine can deliver output of 140 bhp while the petrol engine delivers 190 bhp. The estimated price for the model is around Rs. 23 lakh competing against the Hinds CRV model. Initially the model was priced near about 8 lakh but later the features loaded in it will unable to keep the cost under check. Additionally, if the SUV model is imported as CBU then it will draw 120% import duty as well. The latest price and specification details will be available when the company launches the model.

The new SUV from Hyundai does look great. Many are waiting for the this new SUV. Any ways it is going to be little expensive as it come to India as a completely built unit.
