The Punto is spacious and has ample space. It has features and gadgets which are designed for human comfort. Too many gadgets surround the cabin which is really not required. It has increased the cost of the vehicle which is just a waste. On the other hand the interiors of the i20 are carved with perfection. You might feel at home while driving this wonderful machine. Gadgets are present in this car too but they are not going to divert your attention from driving.
Engine and feel
The Italians have installed a lot of power inside the Punto. Well driving the Punto is simply superb. You can feel the car being designed especially for you. The Hyundai i20 on the other side is subtle when it comes to speed. You might feel slow at first but then suddenly a lonely warrior steps in the picture when you are redlining the car. Both of them are simply superb and deliver top notch speed. The Punto has a sort of grunt in it which is unleashed when the car is doing red line gear change. The i20 on the other hand as said is subtle and has enough power for being laid back and turned into a power house.
Handling quality
The Punto is crystal clear and handles like butter. God knows what the Italians have done to the car. It handles perfect, you feel like having it more, more and more. You never feel like going home and resting as the Punto is your home. The i20 feels large and yes it is bigger than the Punto. Handling the heavier i20 is bit difficult on turns. Well if you are cornering the vehicle then the best option would be the Punto. It handles like a bike on turns.
Time to go to ATM
Well this is a tough question since both of them are perfect. If cost is in your mind and you need a car which can last longer than the usual machine, the best option is the i20. But wait a second, what about the Fiat. It is a superb piece of engineering. A little bit of more cash and you have an all-rounder. The Punto is the best option which is available in the market which can head on the i20. Cost of the Punto is bit high but it surely is worth the value.

As you can see, both hyundai i20 and fiat punto are very well described with the help of above given information.
everything is presented in a manner that anyone one would differ between both of them very easily.
But personally i would prefer i20 because of its brighter features that highlights its reputed class in hatchback segment and Hyundai is a Korean company which provides good quality products.
As you know Punto’s after sales service is taken care of by Tata which i personally feel is far away from after sales service provided by Hyundai….
Last but not the least if talk about the price it differs…., if 1 would go for i20 its surely a cheap n best deal…

the top speed of i20 is 140 Km/h.but the top is of punto is 175.

I’ve booked my GRANDE PUNTO last week and expecting the delivery by 12th of Jan. As this comparison says PUNTO is the best in its class and its cheaper than i20 Magna1.2( i20 Magna-5.90L on-road BLR & Punto Emotion 1.2 is 5.75L on-road). You can always have a comparison b/w PUNTO,FABIA,POLO and JAZZ… u admit PUNTO is the best -after a test drive and style & comfort comparison- keeping the JAZZ aside bcos of the price matter.

I was using TATA cars for long time and I used to go for long drives with my family. When I was thinking for a new car punto was in my mind as it is serviced by TATA. When I went to the showroom at Bangalore and checked the cars I had a sad experience from punto. Because the gadgets inside resembles to a small car. A person and his family are going to ride the car by sitting inside not by standing outside. For the value of money interior design is quite unacceptable. I came out from the car quickly and felt there is no point in sitting inside. I was totally confused and I made a search for other company models, then I could find a car where interior resembles to a premium sedan car, Hyundai i20. The company has taken care for in all the areas (Vertical AC vents, centralised music system with elegant look, tilt & telescopic steering, foot rest for left leg, cooling box, central display on dash and not along with stereo tilted towards the driver, blue display etc.). Another example shows the company has taken care for small things is, if a music system with USB capacity will have USB port on it, when pen drive is placed it obstructs the driver for handling accessories and gives a bad look, but in i20 it is at the bottom and almost invisible.
Power and driving comfort is really good in i20 and it proves that “it is the premium hatchback”. The WIDTH of the car is better than sedan cars of this range. The width ensures three persons can sit very comfortably in the back seat and driver can access the accessories without touching the front seat passenger.
I20 comfort is incomparable especially the gadgets arrangements and width of the car, it is a small house.
There is no advertisement coming up for i20 and plenty vehicles are on road. It means people can understand the vehicle without advertisement. i20 and i30 is European edition and a person can simply go for it.

Fiat Grande Punto is simply great looking, you can even compare i20 to it.
Punto has race car ferrai universal look, where as i 20 is asian in look.

Well.. Sorry I don’t trust the above comparison.. My brother in-law has an I20 and my best frd has a Punto. I have driven both the cars for more than 1000 KM and I20 will beat punto in every department.
I don’t wish to talk abt the details, but if you want to buy a car and if you are confused. Please test drive these cars and I’m sure you will buy the best of them.
