Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz Get Five Star Euro NCAP Safety Rating
Posted on June 1st 2009Welcome back!
European New Car Assessment Programme’s (NCAP) top score makers are Audi’s Q5, Honda’s Jazz, Hyundai’s i20, Kia’s Soul and the Peugeot 3008. Audi Q5 is the super small car. Remaining small car, the Maruti Suzuki Alto scored 3-stars, its safety rating restricted by its low performance in the child protection, and adult occupant safety assistance technologies.
In response to European revised rating system Suzuki made Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as a minimum optional on each Alto model. Whereas Kia Soul , Audi Q5 and Peugeot 3008 are offered with the ESC as a standard feature.
Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz scored impressively in pedestrian protection & safety (with current needs it also meets European NCAP’s future needs.) Kia Soul’s seats attained a good output in a pogramme whilash testing.

i am glad that world class vehicles like Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz are now available in India. Both these vehicles meet the highest standards of safety standards of United States and Europe. Which makes it interesting for Indian car buyers who are bored of barest of the safety technologies on cars.
