Yes it is a confirm news which says the Getz to be removed from the
Indian market. The new norms and creation of i20 have stopped the
sales for the Getz. The Getz is one of the preferred hatch backs in the country.
It was the best mid size model from the Japanese manufacturer. Not only for the sales but due to the emission norms also the effect of discontinuing the Getz has been taken. The new i20 will take over the hatch back segment of
Hyundai followed by i10 and the Santro Zing.
