Honda Plans to Open up Manufacturing Unit in Rajasthan

HMSI is in processing of setting up a production facility in the Rajasthan.
Talks are going on for the creation of second plant in the country. Tapukara is an industrial area where most manufacturing plants are present. To meet the requirements of the Indian segment creation of this second plan will be done.
The plant will come to effect at end of 2011 and will have the capacity to manufacture 600,000units. The estimated amount for the investment is around 4.7 Billion Rupees. 2000 associates will be working in the new plant, this will reduce the unemployment level in the Rajasthan state.
