Honda Launched New Scooter ‘Aviator’

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) launched its new 102cc scooter ‘Aviator’.
It priced at Rs 40,708/- , ex-showroom.

The company after successfully reviving the scooter market from the brink of extinction is now set to redefine the positioning of scooters. The Hyderabad market provides HMSI an immense opportunity to expand and the company is looking forward to introduce and promote its range of products further in the city.

- HMSI South head Raja Gopi spoke to reporters.

In addition to this he said that the product will launch allover the India on 6th March. They are planning 1 lakh units during the year 2008-09.

It will produce a max power of 7 bhp at 7000rpm and 8Nm max torque at 5500rpm.
The two variants of scooter are available, standard and deluxe. Deluxe will be come with front disk brake and 12″ alloy wheels. It will be available in five different colours: gray, purple, black, red and silver.

    Want to know more about Honda Aviator scooter. Whether it can be easily driven by females? My wife wants to buy a scooter and I am think to go for this one. Can anyone let me know how is it?
