Honda Cars To Be Dearer From April 1st
Posted on March 16th 2011Welcome back!

Its official!
Honda, India has decided to increase the cost of its vehicles by 2-3% from April 1st. As usual the company has attributed the sudden rise in the increase of vehicles to the increase in the cost of basic commodities for the manufacturing of the cars.
In other words, Honda has increased the price of its models due to rise in the input costs. The company has also decided that the price rise would be implemented across all models except, Honda Accord which was launched only a few weeks back.
Providing you an insight to the prime reason for the price hike done by most of the auto majors in the last few days, the rising prices of the commodities have been made the main culprit. As a result most of the auto companies are making sounds about having to raise their prices eventually.
General Motors (GM) is also geared to increase their prices soon. After the increase in price of the cars made by Honda, it’s being speculated that more auto companies would also follow suit.
Due to an increase in the prices of commodities, we are forced to increase the prices of our cars by 2-3 %. We are forced to pass on the burden to our esteemed customers and hope to have their continued patronage. We have kept Accord out of the price increase, though
A senior Honda official was quoted as saying on the current move of the company.
So, if you have plans to buy a car other than Honda, no prizes for guessing what you need to do now.
