Hero Honda Sales up 16 percent

India’s largest 2-wheeler manufacturer Hero Honda Motors reported the16 percent rise in their bike sales in June to 295675 units, compare to 255200 bikes in the same month of 2007.
According to company, their cumulative sales for 1st quarter of this fiscal year went by 11% to 894244 bikes, as against 802853 during the same last year.
Our strategy to tap new markets in the semi-urban, rural and upcountry areas has contributed to expanding the two-wheeler market and thereby trigger growth in the industry.
