Hero Honda Increases Prices on Some Bikes

India’s top bike maker has increased cost of some models to partly balance rising prices of the raw materials, company said.
Costs of entry-level 100cc bikes have been increased by up-to Rs. 850.
Hero Group, India and Honda Motors Co, Japan hold 26% each in the Hero Honda. Auto makers in the country have just raised costs by up-to 3% to offset high prices of materials such as the steel. Because of increased interest rates and fuel prices, the sales in Asia have been slowed in it’s 3rd largest economy.
