GM to Hire 500 New Employees in India

General Motors is planning to employ 500 new employees at their Talegaon unit in Maharashtra. GM is facing challenging times back home but they have well development plans in line for the country. It’s also intending to introduce its small car to catch a big market segment in India.
Recruitment is on at full swing in India and we plan to hire as many as 500 new workers for our Talegaon plant in the coming months.

GM has initiated production at Talegaon plant in September’08 only. This plant will also be the powertrain facility for company.
It already has appointed 700 employees at the plant and now plans to employ more. GM also has a manufacturing unit in Halol, Gujarat.
