Ford has launched the new Ikon with very competent diesel option. The engine is similar as in Fiesta with a 68 ps of max power at 4000 rpm and a 160 Nm of the torque at 2000 rpm. The new engine is one of the most improved diesel engines in country and has the great drive ability.
The new Ikon also has a new exterior with unique European cues. It features sharpen fresh hood design, attractive new headlamps, and all new front bumper. New dual tone beige interiors matched wonderfully with new seats and the door trims.The new instrument cluster on the Ikon (diesel) includes fresh graphics, LED spikes, tachometer and LCD odometer display.
The Ikon will be priced at Rs. 4.59/- Lakhs (petrol) and Rs. 5.19/- Lakhs (diesel) at ex-showroom, Delhi.
The fresh looking Ikon offered in seven colours - Morello, Panther Black, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Platinum, Brush Steel and Paprika Red.

It is good that the customer has another choice of a good brand at affordable price. I feel this car is also a good choice.

Very good Sports car. But, too costly.

Ford ikon diesel is the best car in the range of 6 to 6.5 lac.its sporty looks,stability on road,milege is phenmenonal. swift dzire,indigo manza are no match for ikon.
