Ford India Increased Prices from 1st January 2010 !

Ford India has increased prices of its all existing models from 1st Jan. 2010.
The price increase is due to a continuous rise in input cost and exchange rate instabilities.
The price hikes are in the range of INR 6000 to INR 40,000 across the model types. Ford India’s New Prices By Models :
- Ford Endeavour(4×2) : Rs. 15,99,000
- Ford Endeavour(4×4) : Rs. 18,39,000
- Ford Ikon(P) : Rs. 4,83,000
- Ford Ikon(D) : Rs. 5,43,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.4 SXI (D) : Rs. 8,07,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.4 ZXI (D) : Rs. 7,45,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.4 EXI (D) : Rs. 6,99,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.6 SXI (P) : Rs 706,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.6 S (P) : Rs. 7,06,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.6 ZXI (P) : Rs. 6,46,000
- Ford Fiesta 1.6 EXI (P) : Rs. 6,13,000

Car sales for Ford cars will not go down as the price hike is by a few thousands. Fords cars are relaible and high-performance.

I have a bitter experience with Ford Fiesta 1.6L P(2008)..
Many a times the car switches OFF by itself when the clutch is pressed…I raised this concern to Ford-India and the response was that it would cost around Rs.7500 to rectify the problem(for replacing some component x)
