On the other hand the Figo is comfortable as it has a less powerful engine. So what are your requirements, speed or comfort? These two cars when unleashed will show power and comfort. Cost is also one of the important points which need to be checked before making the purchase.

The interiors of the i10 are pretty cramped up, it is a small car which is perfect for the family of 4. On the other hand the Figo is quite comfortable when it comes to space and operation area. The driver seat is not that great in the i10, overall looks of the i10 are also not that appealing. The Figo is more spacious and top notch when it comes to interiors.
Handling and feel
The i10 has a powerful engine for a small sized car. Handling of the i10 is superb. You might not feel to leave the car. The small car throttles to three digit mark in less time, it is light weighted too which makes it zippy in corners. The Figo is heavy on the other hand.
Engine feel
The Figo has an underpowered engine which is not that great. The car does not have the capacity to reach the three digit mark in lesser time than the i10. Engine of the i10 is designed according to new specifications. Both of them are Bharat Stage IV ready.
Time to go to the ATM
If you need space and comfort the Figo is the best option. If you have a family of 4 and have lots of trips on the menu the i10 is the best option. The engine is simply superb, it handles perfect when required. Long trips on the i10 are possible with ease. Maintenance on the i10 is comparatively less.

What sort of stupid comparison is this? Do you know what handling means? Just because I10 throttles to three digit mark in less time, does not mean it handles better. I10 is zippy in corners? It rolls and skids.
Figo handles and rides a lot better than I10.
What does this mean - Figo is comfortable as it has a less powerful engine!!!
Stupid fool, totally untrue representation.

Figo is Figo ,no doubt ,more space more comfort,no compare with i10.Superb in every field ,look, engine price. But ford need more expansion in showrooms & best services.ford may be weak in that matter.

I am a ford figo petrol EMI owner since last one month. Ford figo is the best when it comes to the interior and other amenities provided. I haven’t calculated average yet but expecting 14-15 on highway. Compaire to the i10, this care is also good at its own measures but it sucks in terms of shape, interior and overall looks. The only best thing about it is the average. But 1-2 average dose not make any differences once drive the ford machine… below mentioned extra amminiries coming with ford figo which is currently not providede under this segment which is also 10-15k lesser then the i10.
1. Superb music player.. great sound with cockpit style looks.
2. Key less entry which includes access to the car and car dickey buttons provided on the front part of the key.
3. amazing interiors and space with good color combination sitting arrangement.
4. Well designed brand name Figo mentioned care mattings.
5. Rest small provision like upper/dipper aduster, ac system, jack/panna n all things are far much better then others.

Guys,
Despite of low milage, lot of complaints on the net regarding ford (Thinking that these idiots do not know how to earn good service and these users might be exceptions), I decided to buy ford figo
I booked “Grey” color with 25k. Next day i went with cheque of remaining amount, the sales person replied ” Sorry sir, we don’t have Grey color, choose from white, chilz and red”, I was angry but still gone for white and submitted my cheques. The next day when i visited the show room with my family, another shock come. Same sales person said, “Sir, i m extremely sorry, we do not have white too”. Then i said book a vehicle and deliver later, got repply “Price are subject to change, i can not tell the delivery date”. I was shocked and just decided to get out of ford show room.
subarao responded on 19 Jan 2011 at 4:11 am #
Do not buy FIGO if you are first time buyer. Take a test drive of tata vista, i20, i10, beat. As per me it is better to buy Vista than FIGO. Any person with good driving experience can find the difference, the ENGINE is too noisey in FIGO. Apart from this this is based on OLD fiesta platform. So if you wanted to buy old technology go, else buy new FORD Fiesta or i10 (kapp2), it has all in one good new engine.

AC is not as powerful as ford claim, i found AC of i10 much better. The ground clearance is also better in i10 than ford figo. Only price tag does not make it best car. The smoothness of i10 is unbeatable, i had gone for i10.

figo sucks it has the baddet ground clearence but looks are fine interiors are a bit better than i10 but i10 on the other hand has a powerful engine with 79 bhp and figo only 54 bhp the new i10 has agressive looks with are far better than figo onthe other hand the pick up is better in the i10 than the figo i10 has a good fuel economy also as compared to figo ????? i have a audi R8 at home & 2 SUV,S AND A I10 NEW ONE ( I10 izzzzzzz the best )

Hi im Praveen from hyd.
Im really confused to choose between i10 and figo. I liked both the cars but unable to choose. As per space figo is the best and as per style and exterior looks i10 good. engine wise i10 has the latest kappa2 engine and the horse power is also more when compared to figo. and i10 has its mark as small car while figo is a bit bigger.
Can any1 please suggest me which one is the best in both??
JJ responded on 25 Feb 2011 at 1:50 pm #
I was also confused between Figo & I10 and after a lot of phone calls, I bought Figo. I had heard abt the less average but since my usage is max 15 kms per day, it hardly matters. Also, since Figo looks bigger than i10, so I bought Figo.

Hi praveen
no doubt i10 is superb i m proud to be a owner of i10.if u think about a smooth driviving then blindly go with i10.its milage is also very good .in hyderabad city my car gives me 17 kmpl and its engine is so smooth.and ac is also very effective.the sound system is uncompareable.i ll suggest u for i10 bcoz look does not matter always go for best engine cause the most imprtant part of avehicle is engine so think over it.

Anand responded on 03 Apr 2011 at 3:04 pm #

bullshit. I believe your uncle don’t have figo or you are blind. Figo, interior is best in class. But no doubt engine is not good as i10 kappa. Even though figo’s interior is superb i will not prefer that “MOST AWARDED” American’s Indian baby. Of course I prefer i10 Kappa. The most fuel efficient (80PS and 20kmpl (16-17kmpl actual) hmm just amazing) car with decent interior.
My vote is for i10.
vijay responded on 08 Apr 2011 at 10:23 am #
i10 provides much elevated feel when it comes to driving pleasure while figo gives more sense of stability at high speeds.in plains figo is a better option while on hilly terrains i10 is unmatched.with low turning radius i10 at speed range of 50-80 is unmatched and of course at higher speeds figo is absolutely unshaky. figo is spacious, no doubt yet its height might just conceive that feel of space on the other hand not withstanding small interiors hight provides sense of space around in i10.technically of course i1o has an upper edge with better torque and refind engine. i10 magna onwards with kappa2 engine has best fuel economy in class 20.36 ARAI TESTED and 17-18 practically.

Buy the Looks I had booked a FIGO .. and was about to receive the vehicle …… but the sad news is this … had been to a TEST DRIVE and the FIGO was not able to take us even in the second gare and it was shouting a lot … had to accelate it more if wanted for a better pickup. Asked the FORD guy to hold the delivery and tried i10 MAGNA 1.2 L ….. after driving it fully loaded … i thought this will be the right choice if driving in the city conditions.
cancelled the FIGO order and picked an i10.

This car has won all the small car awards. Figo is India’s most awarded car of the year. On the theer hand i10 is not as spacious as figo, it’s boot sapce is smaller than figo and i10 is costlier than figo.

The comments just caught me reading on got me hooked on the this page.
I had a Palio, awesome Drives, comfort, safety, feel, stability but want to share my experience here. Each time I had a Traffic jam, I switched off my AC, reason though I got a decent 14kmpl average, I used to stare at Indicas keeping their AC on and drivers sleeping inside, cz I was Jealous of their savings.
Each time I got late, I pushed my car, n believe me, didn’t let anyone (believe me) anyone overtake me, just to cool down and feel as if I was poorer by a grand.
I had a soft front end collission of my car with a local Jeep in Garhwal, Lensdown precisely, but the fear of a damage/ breakdown killed my enthusiasm in the trip. I figured the next service centre was in Dehradoon and my car might be towed till there, with crane charges, imagine.
I had my Palio got engulfed in mud keechad and the more I was revving, the deeper it was getting. I called some workers from the surrounding, who denied to push the car out saying ye to bohot bhari hai, niklegi nahin. Fortunately, it was pulled by a passing Tata 407, who took Rs 1000, saying axle pe load padta hai.
I changed my rear View Mirror almost every alternate month, initially only at the Showrooms, till I started getting the feel that I was surrounded by Cab Drivers all around who were in for their Indica Service when Tata took over Service of the Fiat, unlike some of the sophisticated people at the Fiat Showrooms. I finally started to visit a roadside vendor when Palio production stopped.
The Best was despite a Great Product, Great Marketing and a Great Company, but no Great Network of sales and supply, I was not able to get even Rs 60k for my 7yr old Palio.
Dudes and Pals,
considering all this.. believe me I did not opt for Fiat (though great), Ford (with some disaster products like Escort), Tata (to avoid getting a stinky surrounding of drivers in kurtas & juttis for servicing), Nissan or Volswagen (to hunt for their parts forever).
I was burnt badly..
This time I chose I10….
No grudges with Ford Figo users!!!
Enjoy!!!
