Ford Fiesta 2011 is Out of the Cage!

The US car manufacturer Ford, in India, has recently given away its brand new Ford Fiesta 2011 in the city of Bengaluru, India. This new Fiesta comes equipped with so many goodies and safety features, that it will surely surprise all its customers for sure. The all new Ford Fiesta will be incorporating both diesel engine as well as petrol engine.
News is that the 1.5 litre petrol engine is reduced in size, as the old rugged Ford Fiesta was equipped with a 1.6 litre petrol engine. But currently the Ford Fiesta Classic is powered by Ti-VCT, and the all new Ford Fiesta will be having the same technology which keeps the capacity of the car to produce around 108.46 bhp of power, which is an added advantage.
On the other hand, the new Ford Fiesta diesel engine, which also boasts of a powerful 1.5 litre motor, is powered by an intercooler. This technology from Ford actually keeps the engine capacity of churning out around 89.72 bhp of power. Also, along with that power, you get a 20.81kgm torque, which is quite commendable for a diesel motor. Both the variants of the car possess a manual gearbox, accompanied with a twin clutch. Ford India has high expectations from the new Ford Fiesta, as the car is pretty fuel efficient. According to reports, the petrol variant of the new Ford gives a mileage of 17 km per litre, whereas the diesel variant of the new Ford Fiesta offers a very economic mileage of 23.5 km per litre.
To add to that, there are some other highlights of the new Ford Fiesta that enlist voice control feature for receiving and dialing calls while driving, or for changing radio stations, to control the temperature inside the cabin etc. The car also has USB & AUX connectivity. The Electric Power Steering or E.P.A.S makes the driving super smooth, and easy to maneuver in heavy city traffic.
Ford has the legacy to manufacture impressive and efficient luxury sedans, which give a head on tough fight to its rivals. And presently the all new Ford Fiesta will challenge cars like Volkswagen Vento, Honda City and Skoda with its performance. The price of the new Ford Fiesta is said to be around Rs. 10 Lakh (INR) (Ex Showroom Delhi), which is the market price, as it falls in the sedan segment. Reports are that this new sedan will be up for grabs this July.
