In 1995, Ford established a JV company with M&M to build and distribute a Ford Escort, company’s 1st model to be launched in India. Ford Motor Company (FMC) was re-named Ford India in a 1999, pursuing the change in an equity holding, with the Ford purchasing out majority stake.
The Company sells vehicles under different brand titles like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford, Lincoln, Volvo and Mercury.
