Force Motors reveals Force One 4×4 at 2012 Delhi Auto Expo

One of the most awaited and anticipated SUVs were launched in high price point called Force One. Only one thing missing in this SUV was a 4×4 version. This new version, the Force One 4×4 at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, stole the show at Force Motors stall along with the biggest monocoque van of the world, the Traveller-26 and the Traveller Hybrid. The grand entry of Force One of Force Motors in the passenger vehicle section has really opened new doors for the company.

In the mid 2011, the two-wheel drive model launched had cut the slack for Force Motors. However, another four-wheel drive model by Force Motors was extremely required. Force has revealed its four-wheel drive version at 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. This new model called 4×4 will be probably launched in mid 2012. The engine of the 4×4 will be the same 2.2-litre Daimler mill. The same engine is fixed in present two-wheel drive model too.

The Traveller-27, which is showcased, will be the biggest van. However its hybrid version is even on the cards, even if, there is no word on if it will be released. Both of these vehicles are developed in-house with claims of both NVH levels as well as car-like ride added a few safety features. Both of the vehicles are best in BSIV compliance and fuel economy. Another premium Traveller Luxury van was there on display. Other CNG versions of the Traveller as well as Trump that is well suited for urban areas where CNG infrastructure is restricted were also displayed in the show. Apart from this, Force Motors Company also displayed the 223 PS MAN Airobus. This Airobus is a 45 seater Inter-City air-conditioned coach. The BSIII compliant coach will be soon available in the market and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
