The model will be in production after its debut in a Frankfurt show in this September.

Grande Punto was introduced in June’09 in India in diesel & petrol engines. Actually, previous model was also trendy and cherished a lot, so this new face-lift & design change model would be a big challenge to the company.

New Punto EVO is a little remade edition of the existing Punto with fresh front bumper, new grille (front), rear grille with improved bumper, new taillamps & headlights. And most important thing, it features new 1.4L Multi-air and 1.3L Multijet2 engines with new interiors.

Fiat is planning to sell both the models (existing Punto & EVO) simultaneously.

The facelifted Punto will be like an aging Sophia Loren after a face lift. It will be the same woman with the same stats but a de-wrinkled version.
