Fiat India Automobiles is a joint venture between the Italian car-giant Fiat Group Automobiles and the Indian market leader Tata Motors Limited. The duo introduced Fiat Palio in the new B- segment of the highly competitive Indian hatchback market. The all new Palio Stile was rolled out of the Ranjangaon Plant in April 2007 and within a short span of three years the car set new standards in sales and customer satisfaction. The simple but extremely elegant design of Palio Stile stands apart from all the other hatchbacks in the market. The car comes with trendier muscular looks and additional comforts. Stile is a wise combination of style, advanced technology, luxury and performance. The car has been crafted in clean lines with fresh styling. I liked the smart and trendy look of the make. When you see the car from the front, you find it a pretty pleasing and appealing sight. The engine runs on the Fully Integrated Robotized Engine (F.I.R.E) and is also equipped with the all new 32-bit Engine Management system which makes the car a silent performer. The in line petrol engine of Palio Stile can generate the maximum power of 57PS @ 5250 rpm and the maximum torque of 94Nm @2750 rpm. This makes Stile a high performance and highly fuel efficient vehicle. Stile comes with five speed manual transmission gearbox. The car offers the average of 11 kmpl on the urban roads and that of 15 on highways which are excellent stats.

Overview

On the whole I would say that the all new Fiat Palio Stile is a complete package of style, elegance, luxury and performance. The sturdy Hydraulic, Dual-diagonal split, Servo assisted brake system in Stile is a great help in de-accelerating the car. The car is roomy and more spacious than many other hatchbacks present in the market today. However I am not happy with the quality of the interior though it has an eye soothing effect. It could have been better. I didn’t find the gear shift that smooth as well.

The New Delhi Ex Showroom price of the car is Rs. 3,77,511. I think when we talk about all the exciting features of the make we must call it an excellent value for money.
