Introduction:

Linea is a superb new entry mid sized sedan from FIAT. The company has launched it with near perfect timing, when there was not much to choose from in the mid sized segment and also which looked so beautiful. Fiat Linea Active is a model that would be liked by everyone.

Exteriors:

Fiat Linea has the aura behind it. Trust me this car is emphatically built and is a lot more stylized and inspired all the way from Europe. The car is s truly magical from outside and symbolizes sleekness. The car has more style and this brilliant curvy body that makes this car very admirable. It indeed can be said as an admirable beauty, one which is seems as if it cannot be ignored. The car has this nice chrome grille in front that makes this car look very slim and tapering towards the front. The grille just makes me think of the Aston Martin, not as stylish though but certainly a step closer to the Brit version. The head lamps are these cutely carved and attached in front, which makes the overall front look very beautiful. This car has a nice race car feel and the hood is just poised to give this car a very attractive look. Sliding across the hood we come across, the rear end of this stunning figure. The car is just too good in the rear end. The car has these wonderful round tail lamps that have LEDs placed in a circle and look absolutely great when get illuminated.

Interiors:

Gorgeously well designed; such are the interiors of this great piece of innovation.. The car is magnificently structures and delicately put together is what I felt when I sat in the car cabin. Roomy, spacious and quite big, this car is more than just being a mid sized sedan. This car makes you feel possessive about it. The car is well and truly a masterpiece. The car has this two tone dashboards that has the AC vents, the glove box and the instrument panel. Coming to the right hand side, the steering wheel with the big bold FIAT symbol really makes you feel nostalgic about the old FIAT cars. The steering is all black in color and is a three spoke wheel having the control on it. The car is polished car from inside and makes you feel all soothing when you actually sit in the driver’s cabin. The rear of this car too has these nice seats which have nice textured leather and the buyer have been given three options to select the fabric. This option of choosing the stuff for your possession is a great innovative idea from Fiat. The boot has been of a good enough volume. The car is a great sedan for the families who want to feel luxury and whole lot of class while going around town.

Performance:

The Fiat Linea is a sedan having a 1.4L having 4 cylinders and a maximum power of 90 Bhp which stuns you at 4000 rpm. The car also gives a 115 Nm of torque measured at a high 4500 revolutions per minute. The 1.4L petrol engine has a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox. The car ensures you with good performance and also makes your ride powerful and also very forceful. The car is very still and stable and yet can cut through the winds. You would not find this car very edgy and dorky, as its petrol engine is far more refined and results in high amount of muscle in it. The car is superb and smooth. Drive is totally a different experience altogether. The car has been given many safety features which I just wanted to significantly mention. This basically is a very important point regarding the Fiat Linea. But not all of those safety features have been added into this base version. Coming again to the ride and overall quality of the ride, it is just very brisk and fast, and the handling of the car is something very commendable. The car at corners too has got the control and its basically a great combo of power and superb control. My rating for this car would be a definite 4 on 5!

Overview:

Well, as you come up till here, you would notice one thing that, I have been going all praises for this car; well yes I have liked the car, but there are those cons also in this car. It is a fact that Fiat doesn’t offer proper well managed sales and service which is bit disappointing to me. The car has enough character to it, but the availability of spares and the other important product related to the car are a big worry. But, if avoided this, the car is really a great worth for its money. The car is an absolutely marvelous innovation having speed control and also is quite fuel efficient. The car is priced approximately for just 6, 50,000 INR (ex-showroom) Delhi and it is quite a good base model for starters.
