Facelift for Toyota Corolla Altis

With all the previous versions getting updated, Toyota is now planning to uplift its hit sedan model, the Toyota Corolla Altis. Recent reports about the Indian automobile market indicate that the Japanese car maker is all set for the release of it’s much awaited retouched and refurbished version of the Toyota Corolla Altis. News is that this release will take place on 16th June, 2011. As per official news, this grand event will be organized at around 11:15 am at the Grand Hotel, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj in the capital, New Delhi.

Earlier reports were making rounds, that due to destruction in Japan on 11th of March due to the earthquake, followed by the Tsunami, Toyota Motors needed to stop the production due to shortage of spare parts, and as a result of this, the launch of the new Toyota Corolla Altis would be postponed. However with sheer hard work and keeping the launch deadline as a priority, Toyota Motors managed it on time, and will now launch the car right on the decided schedule.

Besides the new Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Motors is also planning for initiating the Toyota Etios Liva which was also scheduled for launch in June. According to the recent reports, Toyota Motors has almost managed to regain its production level, and is now all set to release the Toyota Etios Liva soon in the Indian market.

The all new Toyota Corolla Altis is said to be launched with a complete facelift, which will include new headlights and a revamped LED tail lamp, with chrome lining at the top of the front end and the rear number plate. Also, chrome fillings besides a new air dam, and stylish bumpers. Moreover reports suggest that the company will launch both petrol as well as diesel variants with a different look to the front-end. It is also said that Toyota is going to place a new mesh grille in the new Toyota Corolla Altis diesel that will change the entire front look.

But, with the new Toyota Corolla Altis embellishing a complete makeover on the outside, the company is also keen on changing the interiors to make it a more comfortable ride compared to its earlier version.

As per inside sources, the car will be equipped with an LED touch screen with Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity.  To add to this, the car will also come added with standard features like a keyless entry and with a start stop function. Although the Toyota Corolla Altis price is yet to be out, speculations suggest that the car is expected to stay above the range of its earlier version.
