Hyundai Motors after its successful foray into the hatchback segment with Hyundai i10, is back with its latest offering named Eon. It’s the culmination of four long years of research by the Hyundai team. This is a small car aimed at the Indian buyers that comes with good safety measures, fluidic design and spacious interiors. Hyundai Motors has started manufacturing it at its Chennai plant in India. Eon is an affordable car and is expected to make its presence felt. Hyundai Eon is available in six different colors and variants like, Hyundai D-lite, D-lite (O), D-lite (+), Era, Era +, Magna, Magna (O), Magna (+), D-lite + LPG, Era + LPG, Magna + LPG and its top end model Sportz and is priced between 2,75,238 lacs to 3,80,899 lacs.

Eon is available in engines with 814 CC, In-line-3, IRDE, 55.2 bhp, Petrol/LPG. The standard 814 CC, 3 cylinder petrol engine produces a power of 55.2 bhp@5,500 rpm and 74.5 Nm of maximum torque at 4,000 rpm. Eon is fuel efficient and delivers 21km/l on highways. It’s loaded with features like, airbag, chrome radiator grille, triangular fog lamps, integrated spoiler, tinted glass, clear head and tail lamps, roof antenna, 2 DIN audio CD player with FM radio, USB connectivity, mp3 player, AUX-in support makes for a complete entertainment.

Hyundai is expected to extend its hold over the Indian automobile market with the launch of Eon which is fuel efficient, extended battery life and better driving experience and pleasure to own the Eon.
