Ducati to Open Its First Showroom in Mumbai

Ducati Motor Holding, the Italian bike manufacturer, is planning to open its very first showroom in Mumbai in this summer.
Precision Motor is an authorized distributor of Ducati in the country. They said that they want to open its showroom in each metro city in India.
Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata are the next cities where the company wants to open its showrooms in next 12 months.
I have asked MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta to bring the Grand Prix event to India. If this event can happen in Qatar, China, Malaysia and Australia, I think India also has a great chance with vast improvements in infrastructure and the F1 circuit plans firming up. If all goes well, we shall have a full-fledged motorcycle racing season in India soon.

In 2008, the company sold 45000 units universally and it was good year for them, said Mr. Torchio.
Currently, India is not a major market for Ducati but it would be after 5 years, he added.
