Customer take on the Maruti Suzuki’s upgraded Swift

Posted on August 23rd 2011

Welcome back!

New Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most awaited cars of the year as even before its launch, the car had heavy bookings for diesel model and petrol too. It is one of the most beloved and best-selling cars of Maruti which is all set to enthrall its customers with its new design and upgraded version. Here are some of the customer’s reaction to it and their expectations from the new version before its launch.

Sameer Takalkar of Mumbai says, “I have heard so many reviews from my friends and relatives that I could not wait for the new Swift launch. It looks much more powerful and efficient than the K-series. I have already booked the diesel variant and I am just waiting for the delivery.”

The new Swift will be more powerful and efficient with 1.2 VVT engine in the petrol and a 1.3 DDiS in the Diesel, giving 87PS and 114Nm of torque and 75PS and 190Nm of torque respectively.

Rohit from Pune thinks, “The car will definitely once again be the best-seller. Maruti knows the trick to capture the Indian masses; give them mileage and performance and the market is yours. I doubt the additional price will hamper the sales even a bit. It’s a tried and tested car and people will still go for it.”

The other changes includes the exteriors like defined headlights, lavish vertical tail lamps, rare sporty antenna, ORVM-turn indicators, 15-inch signature alloys, a different stylish vertical headlamp, strong fender flare and better mileage. The new Swift Petrol will give 18.6 kmpl and diesel version will give 22.9 kmpl, as per ARAI.

Rajiv Singh from Delhi says, “I think amongst the small cars, Swift is the best. It gives the best mileage amongst all the other cars that I have. I love it so that I recommend the car to almost everyone and definitely look forward to buy the new one too.”

It is clear that everyone is extremely eager to see the new Swift. The new Swift carries a stylish attitude, sporty architecture and high performance along with  Rs 20,000 to 30,000 premium. Thus, it is indeed a great reliable package to opt for.
