Cosma International Begins New Facility in Pune

Cosma International, the operating unit of the Magna International Inc. and the top most global provider of auto body and the chassis systems, has declared the launch of a new facility in Pune, India.
With the launch of this facility, the Cosma has now 2 operations in India – one each in Bangalore and another in Pune.
The Cosma’s Pune unit will begin its operations in 2010, and will supply the global and regional customers with the welded and stamped assemblies.
The addition of this facility is part of our overall strategic expansion to support global platforms and it brings us closer to customer assembly plants. India is a key growth market in the automotive industry and we look forward to demonstrating our agility, resources and leadership in this region.
