China is at Top Position in Car Sales

China has attained the topmost position in car sales in a first 6 months of 2009. Thus it has overtaken the US, by selling 6.1 million units (locally made) in the Jan to June 2009.
According to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, they sold 1.14 million vehicles in the month of June 2009 and crossed its 1.1 million mark for 4th successive month. The overall car sales in year 2009 are estimated to attain the 11M mark.
Conversely, the U.S. car sales dropped to 4.8 million vehicles from Jan to June 2009.

China is working very hard and their hard work has been proved. It is definitely a great achievement and very soon we can expect Indian car market too on the top position. Another important thing is that the Chinese car market has achieved the top position despite the economic crunch.
