General Motors had launched a number of different class segment cars in the past few years, to compete to the growing number of global brands in the Indian car market. Comments-The new Chevy Captiva is a prominent name among the gen-next SUVs launched recently in India. The stylish looks, monstrous power and torque and elegant defines the new Chevy Captiva. The car body is SUV type and is designed without making any compromise at its exterior size. The broad bonnet and soft-sloppy windshield makes up the manly front view of the car. The huge radiator grille accompanied by halogen lamped headlights and fog lights add up to the splendid front end look. The side view amazes you with the stylish looking huge alloy wheels and the car body residing on it with perfect ground clearance.

The engine performance means a lot for a SUV. The manufacturers are absolutely aware of this and have left no effort missed in making Captiva’s engine powerful, enough to run with carrying its heavy body. The 2.0L Diesel engine is able to produce a peak power of whopping 150 Bhp. The fuelling system used is the one of the finest, the Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDi). Captiva is the only SUV in its segment that offers two differently fuelled power-trains. This helps greatly in increasing the acceleration of the car.The new Captiva is definitely one of the safest cars available today.
With the recent safety systems such as, the ABS, Brake assist, central locking, Power door lock, Child Safety Lock, Driver Airbag The car uses a solid suspension system with McPherson Strut and Twin Tube Gas Pressure Strut at the front end, and a Multi Link, Level Ride with Twin Tube Gas Pressure Strut at the rear end. Along with these systemized safety features, the car body is made strong enough for unwanted collision situations. The front and side impact bars helps the structure in achieving this kind of body strength.Undoubtedly, the car’s exterior has got excellent sporty look, but it is not at the cost of interior comfort level. The interior of the car (which is quite spacious) is quite rich in terms of the comfort features. The most important of all, the seating arrangement is quite well planned and enjoys various comfort features as Rear Seat Headrest, Rear Seat Centre Arm Rest, Cup Holders (Front and Rear), Seat Lumbar Support, Leather Adjustable Seats etc.
Pros:
- 2.0L, 150 Bhp Diesel engine with Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDi)
- Front Suspension- McPherson Strut with Twin Tube Gas Pressure Strut
- Rear Suspension- Multi Link, Level Ride with Twin Tube Gas Pressure Strut
- Air Conditioner with Automatic Climate Control, Air Quality Control
- Remote Trunk Opener, Remote Fuel Lid Opener, Accessory Power Outlet
- Alloy Wheels, Rear Seat Headrest, Rear Seat Centre Arm Rest, Cup Holders (Front and Rear), Seat Lumbar Support, Leather Adjustable Seats
- Multi-function Steering Wheel, Leather Steering Wheel, Glove Compartment, Power Steering, Power Windows (Front and rear), Power ORVM, ORVM Turn Indicators, Adjustable Steering Column
- Outside Temperature Display, Cigarette Lighter
- Adjustable Headlights with Halogen lamps, Fog lights (Front and Rear), Rear Window Wiper, Rear Window Washer, Rear Window Defogger
- ABS, Brake Assist, Central locking, Power door lock, Child Safety Lock, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Front and Side Impact Beams
Cons:
- High price
- High maintenance cost
- Last row seats are very congested
Bottom Line:Captiva has got perfect style, strength and the engine performances are assured by GM, a leading car manufacturing global brand. The uniqueness of Captiva among the other SUVs is its fueling system. This is the only SUV in its class that offers two differently fuelled power-trains. The seating arrangement tried to make more and more comfortable. The only concern could be the quite congested last row. The driving experience is undoubtedly one of its kinds. The peak power of 150 Bhp is enough to boost the passion of the driver at great heights. The engine surely keeps the vehicle flying at express highways, but at the same time do not discourage at mountain roads. Thanks to the peak torque of 320 NM. In short the new Chevrolet Captiva repays you enough compensating for its high price!

I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Virtually all of what you claim happens to be astonishingly accurate and that makes me wonder why I hadn’t looked at this with this light before. This article really did switch the light on for me as far as this subject goes. Nevertheless there is 1 factor I am not necessarily too cozy with so whilst I try to reconcile that with the actual main idea of the point, let me see just what the rest of your subscribers have to say.Nicely done.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
