Chevrolet Aveo Vs Ford Ikon
Posted on May 18th 2010Welcome back!

The Aveo is spacious when it comes to interiors. The Ikon might be powerful but its bit cramped up when it comes to space. Both of them have the same engine but the output is lot different.

You might want to think again if you are selecting the Ford Ikon. The new version is not that great when it comes to space and interiors. Take the Aveo for rejuvenating your senses and to feel like a king. The Aveo has a lot of space for 5 adults with their luggage.
Handling and feel
The Ikon falls behind even if they have the same engine. The Ikon feels bit out of power when changing gears at red line. The Aveo on the other side is superb when it comes to driving over red line gear change. You can feel the power gushing out of the exhaust pipes.
Engine and feel
Physically abuse the engine at red line and all you get is power from the Aveo. It has one of the best mid size engine which does a top whack of 180kmph with ease. As said the Ikon on the other hand feels bit underpowered when it comes to performance. The Aveo delivers only power, power and power. That’s enough for blowing your wallet for lakhs of rupees.
Time to go to the ATM
This is a tough choice as you are paying more for performance. The Aveo is the best choice but it’s costly too. If there is a money crunch then selecting the Ikon will be the best option.
