Cheap Electric Cars in India

Tata International is planning to launch a range of electric cars in India priced starting at Rs. 99,000. It really looks unbelievable. The running cost for these cars would be around Rs. 0.40 per kilometer.
Here are some specifications:

Power: 5 KW
Battery: 4 batteries of 12V (200 Ah) each
Recharge Time: 8 hours
Driving Distance per Recharge: 130 Kms
Running cost: Rs. 0.55 per km
Price: Rs. 99,000 only

Tata Shuttle
They are also launching Tara Shuttle, an electric 14 seater commercial vehicle for around Rs. 5,00,000 only.

Raising fuel prices in India has paved way for the electric cars. they are not only affordable and but also eco-friendly. , I also read about the famous Indian clock makers Ajanta planning to roll out eco-friendly cheap car.

I am intersted to buy a electric car. But I want it to be airconditioned. If it is with 4 seats i will be very happy. Will you please suggest me if any such car is avaialble in India and if so the details please.

I want to buy an electric car either new or used one in good condition. should be economical. pl respond if u have any info. also if any bobdy

As per the specification the car seems good but the main area is service whether the battery will be work for long time or not and second is the car should have expensive in service.
