TVS Motors plans to increase their two wheeler price in the next month. The reason behind the increase of products is not known. The initial requirement of the customer was in the power segment. Now the prices will be hiked which means the TVS Apache RTR will be sold a bit costly. Increase in sales was recorded by TVS. Net profit was increased to 235.3 million rupees. The company did suffer a loss of 9.6 million rupees year ago.

Japanese design now running on Indian roads. After the Street bike which came with a bang in 2000 was one of the best clutch less bike. Now after years of struggle TVS has come up with their own design which will be hitting on Indian road soon. The Jive which is 4gears clutch less will be one of the hectic free bikes in India. It is a true commuter which has the capacity to convert every drop of fuel into useful resource. The Jive is targeted at economy segment which can give high average.

TVS Motor Co., the two-wheeler maker has sold 1.19 lacs two-wheelers in the month of Dec. 2009, posting 34% growth in its sales in same month compared to sales of 89,285 units in the same month last year.

As we said in earlier news, TVS Motors has now launched its two new models : Wego Scooter and Jive Bike. TVS Jive is the only bike in India fitted with automatic clutch and 4-speed rotary gearbox (T-matic Technology). TVS Jive, 110cc bike is available at INR 41,000 and TVS Wego, 110cc is available at INR 42,500.

TVS Motors plans to launch gearless scooter - Wego and a clutchless motorcycle - Jive in India soon. TVS Wego is the new gearless 110cc scooter particularly made for men to compete with the Honda’s Activa and Aviator. At present, TVS only has the Scooty for girls/women which is tremendously successful model in the country.

After getting all essential consents and clearances compliant with law, TVS Motor has re-launched its much awaited motorcycle, TVS Flame DS 125 with Twin Spark Technology. The new Twin Spark Flame is now priced at INR 49,200.

TVS Motor posted 11% growth in its sales to 1,26,842 units in August this year from 1,14,321 units in the same month last year.
No news yet from Bajaj Auto about its sales. The company would be disclosing it today only. So we have to wait for the same.
