Toyota Motors riding the wave of popularity with the recent launch of all new Toyota Etios Sedan and Toyota Etios Liva (displayed during the launch) is now planning to have a grand launch of the Diesel version of Toyota Etios. When we contacted, one of the company officials revealed that the Toyota Etios Diesel is likely to be launched sometime in December 2011.
Koji Nagata, Director, Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar, told that the company is thinking about the launch of the Toyota Etios Diesel and they expect that they could get the things done by December, next year. The official reports say that Toyota Kirloskar Motors is planning to launch the next version of their merrily sold out MPV – the Innova in 2012. However, it should be noted here that the company is not going to experiment much here. The customer shouldn’t expect much of a difference between the current machine and the one to be brought in. The price conscious Indian customer too shouldn’t worry much as there won’t be a huge difference between the costs of the new version and the one present in the market right now.
The same IMV platform that works under the present Innova will be employed for the production of the new car and the changes, too, will not be too exhaustive.
