Tata Indigo CS e-series known as Tata Indigo e-CS VX has been launched by the Tata Motors Company. According to one of the leading automobile companies, this newly launched car gives wonderful fuel efficiency. One can opt for any of the version such as petrol or diesel as this new model is available in both of the versions. The diesel variant is made with CR4 common rail diesel engine that has engine displacement of 1396 cc. Tata Indigo e-CS was actually launched in the year 2008 in New Delhi at Auto Expo. This car was known as the shortest car of the world and famous for its compact exterior too.
Talking about its exterior and interior design, not much difference has been found between India e-CS VX and Tata Indigo CS. But this car got much fame due to the excellent engine performance and fuel economy. The improvement that has been brought in the Indigo e-CS has improved the overall fuel efficiency and engine performance of this sedan. As the domestic of auto market is on a downhill sliding position due to extensive fuel hikes and increase in the interest rates of the banks, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki have decided to cut its production as the auto industry brace up for single digit sales growth rate this economy.
However, car producers are hoping positively for a sales growth due to new launches, including MSI’s Swift, Volkswagen’s Jetta, Honda’s Jazz and Brio and newly launched General Motor’s Beat, diesel version.
A Tata spokesperson said, “Our production is exactly as per demand. We keep in mind the need to keep inventories at both the company and dealers’ end in balance.”
He further added, “If there is a requirement for adjustment in production, the company does it. At the moment there is a slowdown in demand.” Continue Reading »
Well Tata Nano does not seem to be out of the safety issue that has been haunting the car for so many days now. After a respite for the car in the safety segment, it seems the car is back into the storm again. As Tata Nano, arguably the cheapest car in the world again shows signs of it not being fully secure for its passengers.
According to recent reports, another Tata Nano model went up in flames on June 1 and that too, in Vadodra, Gujarat again. According to the reports, the engine of this car from TATA caught fire, which went on to damage the front seat of the car completely. According to reports, the Tata Manza diesel version better known as the Quadrajet Aura ABS, has clocked an incredible mileage of 46.33 km per litre. This is a real achievement in itself, as this feat has been achieved by Mr. Narayanan Menon, who is a resident of Coimbatore.
