European New Car Assessment Programme’s (NCAP) top score makers are Audi’s Q5, Honda’s Jazz, Hyundai’s i20, Kia’s Soul and the Peugeot 3008. Audi Q5 is the super small car. Remaining small car, the Maruti Suzuki Alto scored 3-stars, its safety rating restricted by its low performance in the child protection, and adult occupant safety assistance technologies.

After Tata made announcement for world’s cheapest car ‘Nano’, there was some frenzy over the Nano. After Tata Nano, Bajaj Renault Nissan made announcement for its ultracheap car.
And now UK media said that Hyundai Motors is planning to make an ultracheap car competing the Tata Nano. Hyundai Motors is second largest car maker in India.
The UK media disclosed that the Indian Engineers are operating on some micro car development project with its Korean counterpart. The expected launch of this car will be in 2010 and the car will first be unveiled in the Europe and then later in India.

Hyundai Motors is the second largest car manufacturer and largest car exporter in India, planning to launch i20 diesel model this year in India. Hyundai i20 is the most recent model from Hyundai Motors India Limited. Without much fanfare the company already launched i20 in December 2008, but the car yet not left the customers shell and Indian auto market shocked. Recently, HMIL sells the i20 model with 1.2 liter kappa petrol engine in India and now it is planning to sell the diesel variants of this model up to this year-end.
