Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has recorded 12.84 % rise in its overall sales in August, at the 84,476 units, compared to 74,863 units in same month last year.
Bikes sales increased by 32.87% to 30,454 units in August, against 22,920 units in the same month of 2007.

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) will launch the 800cc motorbike by the end of this fiscal year.
President and Chief Executive of HMSI, Mr. S. Aoyama said that 800cc bike would be one of the two models planned for launch later this year, and other would be a motorcycle or a scooter.
