All these five variants would be launched in India. This new launching is the most awaited midsized car in the Indian auto industry. Price of Honda City variants differ from each other. By taking into consideration an increasing demand for diesel cars in India, Honda decided to introduce its new 1.6 litre diesel engine. Honda already developed a 2.2 litre i-CTDi four-cylinder diesel engine in the year 2003 in both the countries America and Europe for the Accord. This engine found its way under the hood of a number of other Honda models sold around different nations in the western world. In the year 2008 again, the Honda for meeting Euro 5 emissions norms introduces the I-DTEC version of 2.2 litre diesel engine. Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India have launched deluxe version of well-known bike called Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler. It costs around Rs. 66,198. It is available in two colors, i.e. Black Grey and Pearl Sunbeam White-Red. The CB Unicorn Dazzler Deluxe variant is now available with new graphics. A fresh coat of paint as well as gleaming graphics is given to the Honda’s new dual color CB Unicorn Dazzler. One can observe sporty and aggressive stripes on both  sides of the tank. The companies such as Tata Motors Ltd, Skoda Auto and Hyundai Motor Co are planning to introduce a slew of cars in India this month. These companies will introduce new cars because they want to win over customers and overturn a slowdown in sales in the biggest automobile market of Asia. A few other companies like Nissan Motor Co, Daimler AG, Honda Motor Co and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd also started selling a few new cars as well as sport-utility vehicles in the month of September ahead of the Diwali season that will start in the month of October. Several consider Diwali festival as an auspicious time for purchasing consumer durables.

The small car Eon will be soon introduced by Hyundai Company in the middle of this month according to Arvind Saxena, director for marketing and sales in the Hyundai Company. He also said that this car will have an 814-cubic centimeter gasoline engine. The aim behind this gasoline engine is that the Hyundai Company wants to make it the small engine capacity car model for Hyundai throughout the world. Two-wheeler manufacturing facility of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India will be operating in the first half of the year 2013. This company is going target an annual production of nearly 1.2 million units. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India will be inaugurating its third two-wheeler production plant in South India so that the company can fulfill the demand in quickly growing two-wheel market of India. This third production plant is situated at Narsapura Industrial Area of Karnataka. This new production plant in Karnataka will make use of nearly 3,000 associates at its first production stage.

Making use of production technologies refined at their Tapukara as well as Manesar plants as a beginning point, Honda Company will make use of advanced automation and even a few other measures at the new plant for lessening the burden on its present two plants. Seven new models such as one motorcycle, a scooter and five cars will soon hit the roads in the months of October and November in the season, which coincides with the festivals of Diwali, Durga Puja, Navrantra, considered favorable for big-ticket purchases. The sales of car slewed 11 percent in India for the second successive august month to almost 144,516 unites from the previous year. Honda Brio, the new model will be launched by Honda on 28^th September 2011. People are eagerly waiting for this launch. Honda has encountered auto components deficiency with overwhelming tsunami in Japan earlier in the year. It has even plagued by 3 vehicle recalls in fewer than two years. Honda Company has even taken a difficult hit due to their petrol cars collection with petrol costs spirally upwards constantly. The launch of the new car model Honda Brio will be the first foray in the small car collection in India. In recent months, there is decline in the sales according to Honda Company. The discount of 60,000 rupees has been offered by the Honda Siel Cars India Limited for Honda City that costs around 1.50 lakhs on the Honda Jazz. After a trial of 6 months, Honda City is again back at the top spot in the midsized car section in India. The core of the matter is that Honda doesn’t have a diesel engine suitable for India and hence they have one for the markets in Europe. Japan’s biggie Honda Motor, world’s largest motorcycle maker, is gambling on the small capacity 100- cc economy bikes as it boards upon rural push in the second- largest two-wheeler market of the world. The Japanese firm which is separated from its long-term Indian partner turned rival Hero MotoCorp, has appointed 5 management teams all over India led by Japanese officials. It is being done to create a new decentralized marketing strategy to maintain consistency in sales, industry experts said.
