Ford Motor Company, the US auto giant has unveiled Ford Figo - its very first small car for the Indian market. The small car has been unveiled at the glittering ceremony in New Delhi.

Ford India is planning to launch its EcoBoost engine technology by using it in its upcoming cars. According to company, with the use of EcoBoost technology, the fuel mileage will be raised by 20 percent.

Ford India has introduced a new variant of its popular Ikon - iKool. The new Ikon-iKool is priced at INR 4.82 lakhs (petrol version) and INR 5.42 lakhs (diesel version). The model will be available from today at each dealership center of Ford.

Ford India has launched the upgraded version of its Fiesta SXI in Indian market. The new Ford Fiesta SXI is available with more advanced features to enhance its sales in the country.

Ford India decides to hike the prices of its popular sedan – Ikon by up to 1.5 percent from April. The company officials told that this price increase is forced by the hike in their import fees caused to a rupee decline.

Now Ford India has announced the price cuts across the model range and passing on the benefits of an excise duty to the customers.

Ford India has cut the prices on Fiesta by up to Rs 91000/-. The company will expects that this will attracts an extra customer into the Ford showrooms in the country.

Ford has launched the new Ikon with very competent diesel option. The engine is similar as in Fiesta with a 68 ps of max power at 4000 rpm and a 160 Nm of the torque at 2000 rpm. The new engine is one of the most improved diesel engines in country and has the great drive ability.

In India, Ford Endeavour is the highest selling model of the Ford. And now it plans to launch a face lifted mode-Navi Gear, loaded with the optional features such as in-car chiller+warmer, GPS system, and fifth door convex mirror.
