Bangalore based company Eko Vehicles launched its two new two-wheelers in India. The first one - Strike is the electric scooter with no frills and at a price tag of INR 22,000 only. It does not require any registration/tax. The buyers can even give the battery capacity as per their requirements for an added cost.

Munjal’s Hero Group Co. has launched the high-speed electric scooter - Hero E-sprint at Kanpur. The new e-scooter will be priced at INR 37,400.

FZ-S , a upgraded version of FZ16, is brought into market by the Yamaha Motor India.
The peculiar features of the FZ-S are it is more stylized than FZ-16, available in sporty and stylish carbon pattern meter console, new colors and graphics, attractive headlights, chiseled aerodynamic windshield.

Hero Honda Motors Ltd. has introduced limited edition of its trendy bike, Hero Honda Hunk in the country. This model comes with red alloy wheels at the rear and front and racing bull insignia on new Hunks tank. The bike acquires a racy appeal with dual tone seat. Also there is telescopic forks and a gas reservoir suspension that gives it more sporty outlook.

Electrotherm, the Engineering Company, which makes the e-bike YO Byke, has introduced an advanced model of their battery controlled two-wheeler, named as Yoelectron on 6th Jan 2009, at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Yoelectron is battery-operated and zero-pollution bike which is able to run up to 75km/charge.
