Bajaj XCD Spring was displayed earlier 2008 at the Delhi Auto Expo show. Bajaj is now ready to launch the new 150 cc motorbike in the country to compete with the other motorbikes like Yamaha FZ16, Apache RTR F1 and Suzuki’s GS 150R.

Bajaj Auto on Monday introduced its new Platina 125cc with “Digital Twin Spark - Swirl induction” (DTS-Si) engine in Hyderabad. It is the 2nd bike on this engine platform.

Bajaj Auto has launched the Platina 125 based on 125 cc XCD DTS-Si engine. The bike is priced at Rs. 39K at ex-showroom as Bajaj expected to increase its market share.

On Monday, India’s 2nd largest 2-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto launched the new edition of its 135 cc bike ‘Discover DTSi‘ priced between Rs 46,248 and Rs 51,895 at ex-showroom, Delhi to strengthen its position in a premium segment.

The Bajaj-Renault-Nissan Joint Venture could expand beyond the “Ultra Low-cost Car” (ULC)to include the range of EV (electric vehicle).

Mr. Ghosn (Chief Nissan-Renault) just announced that they plans to begin mass production of EV as the part of their strategy to increase demand, which is currently slowed because of high fuel costs.

The Bajaj auto and the Renault Nissan alliance declared its plans to create the Renault Bajaj ULC (codename) – a $2500 car. The new industry that will produce the ULC will be owned 50 percent by Bajaj, 25 percent by Renault and 25 percent by Nissan.

Renault Bajaj union has already begun their project to produce a low price car, and they started their working in Chakan near Pune, Maharashtra. Now they will announce the last details of their project in some weeks.

Bajaj Auto has reported that they are planning to launch for 4 new 125cc bikes this year.

The battle of small car is heating up more and more. After Tata announced its small car “Nano”, Bajaj has announced its small car as well. Then Hyundai show interesting launching small car as well. Not its the turn of Maruti Suzuki to launch the small car.

Yesterday (7^th January, 2008) Bajaj Auto, the second biggest bike manufacturer has unveiled their new upcoming small car called “Bajaj Lite”. Auto Expo 2008 is approaching fast and people are waiting for Tata small car to be revealed in it. But Bajaj has surprised all by showing this small car even before Auto Expo. The car was launched by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, the managing director of Baja Auto.
