Mahindra Renault Launched Special Edition ‘Logan Edge’

On Wednesday, Mahindra Renault launched a special edition of their sedan Logan. It will be priced between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 7.15 lakh at ex-showroom, Delhi. The industry is also planning to export the cars to improve their sales and introduce the CNG variant of Logan soon.

Tata Open to Fiat Selling Nano Cars

Fiat 500 - Cinquecento Launched

Fiat India has launched the Fiat 500 also known as Cinquecento (in Italian) in the India. The 500 was originally designed by Dante Giocosa and was introduced in 1957 in the Turin. Exactly 50-years after its 1st launch the latest Fiat 500 was launched last year in Turin amidst a lot fanfare which was spread across the number of Italian cities.

No Tax Concessions for Imported Hybrids, Big Cars: Chidambaram

Dashing hopes of the big car manufacturers for the excise duty at same level with the small car, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram has ruled out extending tax concessions to bigger vehicles.

He also said that there was no scope for decreasing duties on the imported hybrids vehicles, while government could consider providing extra tax incentives if they were built in India.

BMW 5 Series in India

BMW launched its new models of 5 series in India last week. These models are costs in the range of Rs 36.5 lakh to Rs 46.8 lakh. They launched 525i and 530i – as the new petrol versions and 520d, 530d and 53D Highline – the diesel versions in a BMW 5 series.
