Bajaj to Launch 6 new Bikes in 2009

Bajaj Auto said that it will launch new bikes in India in 2009. The company would launch one bike every month for next 6 months starting Jan 2009.
Bajaj has recorded 37 percent fall in motorcycle sales during this November’08. The company doesn’t predict any increase in Dec 2008 either as the dealers have rejected to pickup any additional deliveries because of inventory pile-up.
The expecting bikes include - all new facelifted Pulsar 220cc, new Pulsar 200 FI, XCD sprint and Blade scooter. Bajaj also plans to launch its new low cost product (christened as Steel).
Bajaj is offering the cheaper finance plans from Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd. They will finance all vehicles bought from Bajaj dealers and will provide cheaper loans to its clients.

Bajaj wala bhale hi 6 bikes launch kare lekin hero honda ki ek hi bike aayegi aur bajaj ki saari bikes fikki pad jayegi. Aur raha sawal sameem ki bajaj pulsar200dtsi ka to usme 80cc ka engine laga hoga tab hi 68km/l ki average aa rahi hai….

TVS Apache Menace 180 cc is coming soon …… The current Apache itself is much better than Pulsar or Hero Honda Junk. So, bajaj better bring a good product this time to compete with TVS. Also, watch out for Yamaha, Honda, and Suzuki too.

Sorry to say, but my Apache, even if it were a gadhe, as u call it, is still much more easir to ride, easy to turn, and faster than your pulsar. So, what can u call ur pulsar?? It is time Indian manufacturers started making ligher but powerful bikes to increase the power-to-weight ratio, like Apache and also now FZ16, which both have high power to weight ratio and hence are quicker and easier to ride. Unfortunately, pulsars are too heavy for their 150 cc engines and hence are sluggish.

Bajaj bikes have gear box problems plus they are not long lasting, as far as pulsar is concerned it doesn’t have the comfort when its compared with Apache.
I have both of them Pulsar and Apache.

I think you guys have never rode Pulsar, i have 150cc dtsi with me i have only modified they silencer and tyre of original 200cc dtsi iam getting 45+ iam spending only 300rs per month on oil service and body wash and my brother is having Apache he spends minimum of 500+ every month. About the performance if u can ride with me with your here honda JUNK or TVS Apache in any drag race PLS LET ME KNOW i have already made junk of other Bikes TVS Apache,Here Honda Junk,Yamaha R16 Best of Luck guys (no engine and Horse power Alteration)

brothers na to pulsar good h or na hi apache…agar bike chalane ka real maza lena hi h to honda cbr 125 rr chalane ke dekh lena, kahne ko to 125cc hi h par aap ki bikes ka to dhua nikal degi…because i m a street bike rider….it is a low maintanance bike n a very comfortable bike…

Well Bajaj Pulsar segment has definately done well in Indian market.. But Apache is far more better.Its not that i own Apache thats y im telling..even I have pulsar 180. Bt wht Antony is true…the power to weight ratio in pulsars is too low. and even its too tough for sharp turnings.
Dont know how much worthy would be new launches

I have tried all the bikes you are talking about… According to me, the best bike right now in Indian market is Yamaha YZF R15.. The best bikes list goes like this..
R15, FZ 16, Apache Fi, Apache RTR, Pulsar 200… I don’t own any of those bikes.. in fact, I don’t own a bike, I am still saving for my first bike… I wanted to know if TVS is going to launch their 250 cc Taurus Fiero F3… I love this bike, Looks like it’s got 4 cylinder engine…
Please let me know, if any one knows about the launch of this bike.. Or any other 250 cc bikes coming to India…

apache..apache..apache… the mistake you made is you commented on yamaha, my 11 years old rx135 will beat you 10 times in half a kilometer even after giving you a head start. come to a standard dude, think 100 times before commenting on yamaha, rx100 and rx135 are too big for you, why don’t you try your power on a crux

Hey Guys, Can any buddy let me know, When Bajaj is going to launch The XCD SPRINT. They disappointed a lot after launching a duplicate ’sprint’ as with XCD 135 CC.
Where is the real SPRINT that they displayed in Auto-Expo 2008 ???

yamaha 100 and 135 gives sound of lawn mover engine machine, what a good example subrata, really I hate its beating. it is like old auto sound beating, it makes lot of noice. any way both products are stopped by yamaha. what si the point of talking about it…..

First of all the guy who is saying that the initial/old CBZ (subrata) had great power either still rides a cycle or has just bought a pulsar a moped (I call them mopeds of chain snatchers).
For your kind information old CBZ (stock) just have a top speed of 105 even not great in acceleration. Will alyas bite duts to even a 135 cc discover.
I own a karizma and tell u what I have even caught a comet at great speads (was never able to overtake.
And all you chain snatchers (owners of pulsars) I can any day bring even youe 220 to have a drag. Lets not talk and hit the road. Will show u the power of karizma.
I cannot comment on these 150 - 180 cc mopeds. Coz i have never riden them don’t feel like. I will burn tgheir engines.
I have replaced my RX135 with the ZMA that I have due the reason of bursting the piston and head of the bike. RX 135 was a great bike can still beat these mopeds from baja even a 10 year older bike guys.
My ZMA has clocked 56000 kms. It was the one form the first lots those were sold in India.
Got the whole cylinder changed when it did 35000 kms. Have melted the valves thrice.
So I think a moped from bajaj even 220 cc will get bursted into pieces with in 3000 to 5000 kms of purchase.
For your information I am a armatuer rally driver into 4 wheels and most of my friends are in 2 wheels category.

hi all I m using pulsar 180 which digital meter for about 2 years. The body parts are very delicate and for the first year the bike was good but later it has all the problems the body parts they sound a lot engine i never missed my servicing dates until now even then the engine sounds horrible now. My digital meter got damp in the rain and its not working now and the show room people say some falthu reasons and they denied to give the warranty for that. Plz dont buy Bajaj Pulsars they might look but they do have a very very week body even a small accident the bike can be thrown to trash

Everything is junk in front of YAMAHA YZF R15. Bajaj must bring Kawasaki Ninja 250 CC in order to compete with the YZF R15. Everyone is talking shit about the YZF R15 claiming power and speed. I have seen the professional racers with YZF R15 beating ZMA, Apache, P150, P200 and P220. So Bajaj guys, its high time!!!! Bring Kawasaki Ninja 250 CC or keep talking shit about the YZF R15 which is far from the reality. :))

putting tech on puney engines is of no use same as giving racing looks wont make it fast.R15 may be better than a pulsar 180 but is way down in front pulsar 220

afterall rainy season is around corner..hence so hurry..!!
Finaly it is seen that TVS gone be launching Apache 180 with rear disk Brakes…seems to be again copied strategy from Bajaj of P200 upcoming…so that they can take over current launched Bajaj Pulsar 180…and also can compete with new 2009 Pulsar 200…
TVS S**ks…all again by adopting n copying all strategies of BAJAJ PULSAR family so far…!!!!!!!
I hope people also eying this COPYing theory of TVS from BAJAJ…and hence go for STYLING,BIG,definitely MALE BAJAJ PULSAR FAmily…the upcoming……!!!!!!!!!!!

hi, i m vikki from delhi…..
that is ok that bajaj is launching six new bykes this year, but problem with its pulsar150 is 1) first and formost is the pick up , my younger bro own hunk, it has amazing pick up. 2) makes too noise ,its silencer sound is good but engine sound too much.3) get early heat up, if u run pulsar @ 90km after 5 to 10 min it will automatically get off and starts after some time. matlab agar race lagaa rahe ho to start hi karte reh jaoge….4) parts get early damage and start making sound in every dump on the road……..
but good points are its handling and breaking system…..

Dude, currently no bike in the range of 150-180-200-250 in india can beat R15, i own 1 and i know so. Karizma and p220 are no match when it comes to compare with R15. I have beaten them like 100 times till now. You need to know when to shift, a good rider can beat R15 with 180 cc bike, but when the rider is on the other side, that 180 has no chance.

i want to purchase a good looking,good heighted,good balancing,fast pickup,and offcourse,light weighted with good milage having bike…….i have seen all bikes on the internet, but no bike have all these qualities………..so i will design it by my own it will be best sold ever. if any company can launch a bike with these qualities then it will be welcomed

zzzZZZzz sad pulsar lovers here also……….wake up guys get a lyf ……..pulsars r becoming past… In last few mnths der salees dropped like ne thing……..i used to like bajaj bikes as they started the new trend of tech wid gr8 looks….bt after the launch of yamaha bikes bajaj stood nowhere near them……..yamaha masters in design n techo………p150 is lil bit gud as its comparitively a gud package overall…bt the higher models r sick p180 (dont knw y they launched this)..p200 is gud on looks bt has sad turning radius n performance……need service frequently:|…..then p220 saaadd looks front is heavy n rear is too light no relation in design…though i likes the headlamps(innovative) bt they dont suits pulsar looks…….n ya i saw sm comparisons btw bajaj n tvs ….n sm 1 wrote tvs copies bajaj…….o_O reALLY?
lemme tell u its called advancement if u launch ne thing in market (like new engine,bike,segment or new accesories )u will surely get a copetiton so u cant say this is copying…:) …n 1 more thing tvs products r far better than tat of bajajs…in every manner..tats y they conquer the 2nd place after HH by beating bajaj in indian market……..!!!!

Pulsar Bikes Are Very Bad In Handling & They Use All Cheap Quality Parts. The Only Good Thing In Pulsar Is About Milage. This Bike Will Be Very Useful For A Family Person Rather Than Youth. Pulsar Not To Be Used In Racing…..

The Pro Biking showroom guys in Pune confirmed that it should be out around Sep/Oct…It was supposed to have been launched in June but because of the new Pulsar 220 they have delayed the launch.

Yes, yamaha rx135 is a good and fast bike, but its not available in the market now. You cannot buy it. Moreover, those are 2-stroke bikes. Dont compare the 2-stroke bikes to 4-strokes bikes.
Currently, Yamaha R15 is the best, agreed. But what about the price of R15?. It costs 40k extra than the other 150 cc bikes. Thats a lot of money. Yamaha bikes are overpriced.
In the 65-75k price range, Apache RTR180, RTR160 Fi, new Pulsar180 and Pulsar220, and CbzX are good buys now for instant power and speed and sufficient mileage.
Expensive Fz16 only for looks and ride, lacks mileage and instant pickup, gains pickup slowly. For mileage plus power, consider suzuki gs150 and new honda unicorn and herohondahunk, good for executives.

What ever u people think, but pulsar is the finest bike bajaj
Launched in India. Before bajaj pulsar it was Yamaha rx 100 and rx135 which rule the markets in 90’s. After 2001 it was bajaj pulsar which is like a trend ok fashion between youngsters in India. Both brands are very good on road.
Now it is like a fight between bajaj and Yamaha. Let us see who will win the markets

The news that mahindra has taken over kinetic is buzzing all around, they are coming up with these power scooters, all these other scooters like scooty pepp, nova, aviator looks very feminine, these scooters are much more masculine and mature in looks,

Are they are going to launch six bikes.May be they might display six new bikes in the auto show and never launch it or they will launch the worst variant of the bike.
when is BAJAJ SONIC DTSI going to be launched.it was displayed at delhi autoexpo 2006.If they cant get these vehicles in to the market why are they displaying it.Look at the case of BAJAJ Xcd Sprint displayed at autoexpo with superb looks and the one which was launched,horrible
