This is all you want to make every ride of yours to be in perfect manner. Design of this bike is done according to new specification. The decision of making all the Pulsar’s in one size and design is finally working. The entire Pulsar’s are looking alike, only the 220cc old bike with the Mikuni Carburetor has the old sport style fairing. This bike is into speed and those who only want to go fast. One more attraction of this bike is that it is Rs 3,000 cheaper than the old one. Well this is a quick move by Bajaj which has attracted the crowd. It looks superb and handles superb too. Pin the throttle a bit and you are having a belt of street lights passing you in a blink of eye. It throttles up pretty fast as expected. One on one drag with its old partner the bike will easily shoot off like a bullet. It has a rear disc brake which works perfect when you need to stop imagining.
Handling and cornering
It’s just like its partner when it comes to handling. Corner the bike the way you wish. It has the perfect seating angle which ensures you can concentrate and lean when approaching a turn. Use the bike for commuting or for Sunday rides it can be your perfect partner. The bike is designed to go exceptionally faster than the old model. Since the bike is on diet it has helped to go fast round corners. Lean angle is simply superb and you can literally feel the ground passing on your helmet glasses. As said the seating position is perfect, it means you can have no more back pains. This is one of the added features of the new Pulsar. Well the bike is bit heavy and you can have trouble riding it for long tours.

This is a combination of speed and flexibility. You can do easily a top whack of 150kmph with ease. The reason for going so fast is the reduced weight of the new bike, its 3kgs lighter and has a very good control. Bike electrical work is perfect when it comes to handling and top speed. Red line the bike and you have top notch pick up. Red line gear change ensures that you get the best of the engine. The new Pulsar is specially designed for speed fanatics. The need of going faster is rising day by day since there are better roads being developed.
Average and less fuel
This is the section where the Pulsar might go behind other bikes. The new model is designed for speed. Well on the economy part the bike delivers an average of 25 to 30kmpl if ridden in economy speed. You need not speed up all the time, since the bike delivers a rubbish economy.
Which one to pick
This is a complete best deal you can get. According to its power and design the new Pulsar is superb. Except for the economy section the bike handles and delivers super power. The cost of the bike is also cheap which means you get a complete package of power and handling around the cost of 150cc bike. It is purely meant for those serious bikers who need power and need to be on the move all the time.

i hv this 220..before it i have buy 8 bikes including karizma r and apache..but 220 is the best..low maintenance,good mileage…
shunt responded on 27 Mar 2011 at 3:41 am #
It’s a full bakwas bike.. Needs a huge amount of maintainance…. U spend only 80k for it but finally after a year it reaches to 1lakh including maintainance…… So better opt for Yamaha R15 or Karizma Zmr…
These bikes rock !!!!!
They have fuel injection and the better thing is they need less maintainance……
better fuck off bloody pulsars……..

125+,135,132,144 Very funny! There is no limit to right. You can even write as 2000 kms. My friends has two 220’s & both can never ever suck more than 129 kms! one is touching 127kms & other is 129kms. It reaches 120kms in short time & 129kms after a long time! Well.. We had a drag race in National highway. My R15 made p220 panting. The 220 sucks because it is just 5 speed & I agree, my r15 does not torques as much as p220. When r15 comes to 6th gear, p220 sucks to supersede! My r15 top speed is 151 kms. Refer to youtube(Black r15 with a yellow cloth in faring) in this name: R15 @151 KMPH(STOCK) …… MOST HUMOROUS COMMENT: A guy noted that P220 can fuck karizma & apache. I don’t know about apache! My friend has a 2004 karizma & I have ridden it. It touches 141kms. Its very funny to say that the old karizma is even powerful than a new 220. Well.. I think, P220 looses its virginity with every bikes while fucking!
Poor 220!

i rode pulsar 220F it hardly reaches 120kmph but never reaches 130kmph i tried so many times. Engine smoke come out. Engine gets weak. But when i ride r15 in 6th gear just in 7000rpm it reachd 115 and when i knockd the throttle above 8000rpm it crossed 120 and when rode above 9500rpm it clockd 135. Trust me its engine has not felt any stress due to its liquid cooling and big radiator wit fan. r15 is the king of highway!! No doubt.
